imperial throne via warfare, diplomacy, and technological progression.
Twilight Imperium contains over-sized geomorphic board tiles, more than 400 cards, and all ten known civilizations of the Twilight Imperium universe. More than 200 finely detailed, masterfully sculpted oversize plastic miniatures represent the typical Twilight Imperium units
(Ground Forces, Cruisers, Dreadnaughts, Carriers, Fighters, PDS, and Space
Docks) as well as two new units (the massive War Sun and the Destroyer).
The game features beautiful new artwork and an imjpressive full-colour rules set with a massive plurality of options. The original designer, Christian T. Petersen, has refined his previous designs, achieving faster gameplay that involves players in a far more active game experience with much less downtime. The game includes new Race Cards, as well as a dramatic new approach to the structure of the game itself with the introduction of the new "Command" system.
